DayTrip - Pokhara Peace Pagoda (4-5 hours)
Pokhara is one of the most beautiful touristic destinations of Nepal, in the middle of a truly stunning nature decor.
Hiking in and around Pokhara is a really different experience. Pokhara is surrounded by green hills, offers plenty of options as destination for hiking and the Pokhara hiking trips can be done all year round.
The DayTrip to the Peace Pagoda offers you an opportunity to experience Nepali rural lifestyle as well as panoramic mountain views from a lower altitude and a gorgeous view over the lake of Pokhara.
We start with a boat trip to the other side of the lake of Pokhara. From there we start climbing up to the Peace Stuba. The small trail goes through lush green forests with, depending on the season, a wide varity of wild life and flowers along the way.
While climbing up you are continuously rewarded with constantly changing views over Pokhara, the Lake and the Anapurna Mountain Range in the background. The most stunning view is of course the view from the Peace Pagoda at the top.
